Buck Stop Archery is located in south central Illinois, about 80 miles east of St. Louis, Missouri. Jon and Leah Washburn started Buck Stop Archery in 1993. Jon a Bowhunter himself, felt there was a need for an archery shop in the area that carried a full line of Bowhunting equipment. With a lot of hard work and customer support the store has grown tremendously over the past nine years and is now one of the most completely stocked archery shops in Illinois. Buck Stop was one of the first shops to have the Digital Hunter Target System.

Buck Stop Archery is located near Brownstown, Illinois, which is about 80 miles East of St. Louis, MO. From the St. Louis area, take I-70 East to the Brownstown, Illinois exit (exit 68). At the end of the exit ramp, turn left on to Highway 40 for approximately 2.8 miles. As you enter Brownstown, watch on your Right for the Buck Stop Archery sign. You will turn Right (South) on to a blacktop road. Follow the signs, (about 2 miles) to Buck Stop. Just give us a call at 618-427-5264 for more complete directions.
From the Indianapolis, Indiana area take I-70 through Effingham, Illinois and continue on to the St. Elmo exit. (exit 76). At the end of the St. Elmo exit ramp, turn Right and follow Interstate Drive to Highway 40 (about 7 tenths of a mile. At Highway 40, turn Left (WEST) for 6 miles to Brownstown. At the West edge of Brownstown, (you will see the Fayette County Fairgrounds). Watch for the Buck Stop Archery Sign, on your LEFT. Turn left (SOUTH) and follow the signs, (about 2 miles) to Buck Stop.
