Buck Stop Archery is located in south central Illinois, about 80 miles east of St. Louis, Missouri. Jon and Leah Washburn started Buck Stop Archery in 1993. Jon a Bowhunter himself, felt there was a need for an archery shop in the area that carried a full line of Bowhunting equipment. With a lot of hard work and customer support the store has grown tremendously over the years and is now one of the most completely stocked archery shops in Illinois. Now, Buck Stop is under new ownership. We continue to strive to meet all of our customer’s needs. On staff, we have 2 full time bow technicians that have received specialized training on a variety of archery products. We also sell customized strings for all bows, in any color that the customer may choose. We offer a 30 target outdoor 3-D course as well as a 10, 20, and 30 yard indoor shooting lane. Outside, we also provide a 20 ft. high shooting tower that allows for shooting out to 50 yards.
